Our Story

Stitches Ink made it’s start in May of 2002 at Stitches by Kayo. Our first commercial embroidery machine was purchased sight unseen over the internet, and we made the long drive to Denver to pick up our first Melco AMAYA. After a week of training in Long Beach, California and countless hours of tinkering, we were ready for business!

We started by doing work for friends & neighbors, along with some projects for the clubs and teams at the local high school. After six months, it was time to purchase 2 more AMAYA machines. We were able to save time considerably and handle larger jobs.

In October of 2003, we began doing contract embroidery for Ogio International, a large local bag company based in Utah. We purchased more machines as demand grew and now have 18 Melco AMAYA machines running nearly around the clock. In 2008, we embroidered corporate logos on over 100,000 Ogio products. We’ve done embroidery for ESPN, Disney, Fedex, BCS Bowl, Sugar Bowl, The Simpsons, Monster Energy Drink, Red Bull, and the list goes on and on…

In March of 2008, we purchased a Roland plotter/printer. We were able to diversify our business to include vehicle vinyl wraps (on boats, cars, trailers, etc.), banners, die-cut stickers, full color stickers, magnet advertising, and many other items. We specialize in Tackle Twill Applique, making impressive designs come to life on apparel & bags by cutting our own twill on-site.

We now have a large warehouse in Sandy, Utah. It’s great to have all the room to do what we do best! We invite you to drop by anytime. We’d love to meet you!
